This ancient art form, often considered the highest form of expression of Chinese painting, presents reverence for the cosmic forces of nature and demonstrates the Taoist balance of yin and yang. The encompassing message that humans are minuscule compared to nature’s might mirrors our assurance for sourcing natural, sustainable ingredients that capture the protective and nourishing properties of botanical living materials.
Our handcrafted bar soaps pay homage to the yin and yang of nature by using the highest quality ingredients and our special pouring technique that reflect the spirit and aesthetic of the Shan Shui paintings. Utilizing old-world soap making methods, we look to the past to ensure that the final product is good for the skin and the environment. We use 20-30% of natural essential oils in our bar soaps in addition to ecologically sourced palm oil. Indulge in one of our soaps for a truly poetic lathering experience!
Indigo & Peppermint Lemon
Waves tumbling, full of froth and foam. An airy scent of lemon on the ocean breeze, and a light lick of the lips savor a tinge of the sea spray. This dreamy bar soap presents our euphoric version of the briny sea. It smells like lemongrass, fresh lemon and peppermint and is coloured naturally with indigo naturalis and bamboo charcoal.
For mindful use: Lather up with water and rinse off. Please note that all the soaps will vary in design due to the unique, handcrafted nature of our products.

Indigo naturalis contains wonderful skin soothing properties; in ancient times it was used in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a remedy for psoriasis and eczema.
Coconut oil is added for extra hydration and to help soften the skin.
Natural honey acts as a powerful antioxidant and antibacterial ingredient that is great for acne prevention and blessing your skin with a healthy glow.
A touch of bamboo charcoal helps to absorb toxins and impurities from your skin for a thorough cleanse.
Ingredients: elaeis guineensis (palm) kernel oil (ecologically sourced), olea europaea (olive) oil, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, persea gratissima (avocado) oil, honey, indigo naturalis, charcoal powder, essential oils of: cymbopogon citratus (lemongrass), citrus limonum (lemon), and mentha arvensis (Japanese peppermint).
